New Purpose House is a nonprofit organization in Houston, TX, dedicated to empowering women as they transition from incarceration or substance abuse rehabilitation. Founded by Shana Jones, a passionate advocate for women’s resilience and strength, our organization is on a mission to inspire hope, promote healing, and foster independence for women of all origins and cultures.

At New Purpose House, we provide a safe, supportive environment where women can rebuild their lives and rediscover their purpose. Through personalized programs, mentorship, and unwavering community support, we work to equip women with the tools they need to achieve self-sufficiency and lasting change.

Our facility accommodates up to 14 residents, providing a safe and nurturing environment for women aged 30 and older to rebuild their lives. At New Purpose House, we embrace and celebrate diversity, offering support tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Through personalized programs, mentorship, and community engagement, we aim to equip women with the tools and confidence they need to create a foundation for lasting change.

Objective

The primary objective of New Purpose Recovery House is to offer a safe, nurturing,
and holistic recovery program that addresses the physical, emotional, and
psychological aspects of addiction. We aim to foster a community where women
can support each other in their journey to recovery and personal growth, ultimately
helping them to find purpose and become productive members of society.

Target Audience

Our services are tailored for women aged 30 and above who are seeking a comprehensive recovery program. This includes women transitioning from inpatient treatment facilities, those with a history of relapse, and individuals in need of a structured sober living environment.
